Learn more about usWhat you will be doing:Lead Studio property set up, and integrity including content, data pedigree, ride height, manikin drop and overall suitabilityLead completion of studies within Design Feasibility FC Process from FC0 to K6, including completion of the Design Development Checklists, Hardpoints Plan, and the integration of aligned plans into surfaceLead the integration of A-surface with thematic, VA, functional, and attribute inputs whilst maintaining the emotive character and art in the surfaceGuide initial theme set-up, and development through or in advance of functional, supplier, or attribute inputsDevelop and maintain Surface Scaffold files to enable Physical and Digital model development and theme overlayProvide concept alternatives and provocations to support the reconciliation of thematic intent with functional and program assumptionsLead the optimization and balancing of inputs to the studio, including consideration of 'what-might-be' to support the theme visionManage data within, into, and out of the studioCATIA – independently able to create complex 3D proposals – recognized as near expert in CATIACAD – independently able to create complex 3D proposals – recognized as near expert in CATIACAD Design – independently able to create complex 3D proposals – recognized as near expert in CATIADesign Release Engineer – Basic understanding and experience in the areaStructural Engineering - Basic understanding and experience in the areaWhat you'll need to be successful:Essential:Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Equivalent3+ years of proven experience in complete vehicle layout/package, including Body and Trim Preferred RequirementsStrong familiarity with legislative requirements affecting the Design Feasibility process.Demonstrated experience in leading and presenting to decision making forums.Demonstrated understanding of feasibility tools and design studio feasibility progression.Strong understanding of the production processes.What you'll get:Full benefits: medical, dental, vision, HSA and FSA401K with a match and immediate vestingShort-term & Long-term disability, life insurance and other optional benefitsEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee DiscountsOngoing professional development opportunities including Technical Training and Leadership DevelopmentThe opportunity to work on industry leading projects#LI-KE1
