Maintenance Manager
Job SummaryThe purpose of the Maintenance Manager position is to plan, lead and direct all activities supporting the maintenance of the buildings, equipment, and related facilities and systems and perform related work to ensure maximum production quantity and quality.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projectsOversee all plant equipment performance related to uptime and downtimeProject planning for Continuous ImprovementSource, quote and negotiate pricing for equipment and repairsWork with the Ammonia Refrigeration (PSM updates and safety analysis on ammonia system)Training and communication with maintenance team on the PM protocols of the facilityApproving bills and monitoring credit and returnsMust have experience working and managing in large operation (Our current footprint is 310,000 sq. ft.)Will oversee Sanitation teams, not to exclude lawn care of facility.Must be flexible to work rotating schedules when needed.Must be willing to respond or take calls after hours, and/or on weekends when needed related to facility needs or emergenciesPreferred experience with MHE such as Raymond, Crown, Toyota equipmentExtensive Knowledge working in anhydrous ammonia facility.Preferred experience in writing CIP plansPrior workday / Sprocket experience preferredQualificationsEducationAssociates Degree or equivalent experienceExperience2-5 years in maintenance managementAmmonia Refrigeration, Computer Skills, Electrical, and mechanical skillsExperience with material handling equipment maintenanceSkillsReading schematics (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic), Proficient with testing equipment and measuring instruments.Mechanical aptitude, Leadership skills, Analytic problem solvingDecision Making AuthorityMost Important Decisions Made Fully IndependentlyPurchases under $10,000New Vendor setupsPlan layouts in productionMost important decisions made with review and approval of other individuals or supervisors (include the reviews/approvals required):Purchasing of equipment over $10,000Major project plan expense approval
