Job DescriptionGynecologic Physician Opportunity - Grand Rapids, MIWe are seeking a full-time, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gynecologic Physician (Generalist or Minimally Invasive Gynecologist) to provide gynecological services in the Grand Rapids area. The ideal candidate will have a dedication to patient-centered care and experience in a broad range of gynecologic procedures.Primary Clinical ResponsibilitiesOutpatient gynecological office accessFull spectrum surgery (robotic, laparoscopic, hysteroscopic, infrequent laparotomy) in outpatient, inpatient, and office settingsUnrestricted (back-up) GYN call coverageCollaboration with a skilled team of physicians and advanced practice providersAcademic collaboration with 32 OBGYN residentsPosition HighlightsComprehensive management of gynecologic conditions through medical and surgical careAccess to multiple outpatient surgical centers and in-office procedure capabilitiesMajor surgeries can be performed in the outpatient surgery center with robust same-day discharge or at Butterworth HospitalCollaboration with subspecialty services, including reproductive endocrinology, urogynecology, gynecologic oncology, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgeryTeaching and mentoring of residents is expectedCall Schedule1:4 unrestricted backup hospital call from home, with occasional weekend GYN rounding when on callQualificationsEducation: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology (ABOG)Licensure: - Michigan Medical License (MD/DO) upon hire - DEA Registration - State of Michigan upon hireCertifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA or ARC within 120 days - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA (if required by specialty)Community Details: Grand Rapids, MIGrand Rapids is Michigans second-largest city and offers a vibrant downtown with a thriving arts scene, hundreds of local restaurants, and a diverse array of cultural and recreational activities.
