HVAC Installation Technician Lead

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team to install heating and cooling systems in customers’ homes, ensuring top-quality workmanship, code compliance, and a smooth customer experience. Key Responsibilities: Lead a team to ensure compliance, codes, efficiency, and customer satisfaction is met with every job. Install residential HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, and ventilation systems Perform system change-outs and new installations according to design specifications and code Layout and fabricate ductwork, piping, and wiring as needed Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with homeowners during the install process Ensure proper startup and testing of installed systems to verify performance and functionality Complete all installation documentation accurately and in a timely manner Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including job sites and company vehicles Adhere to all safety policies, building codes, and manufacturer specifications Qualifications: 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience preferred EPA 608 Certification preferred. Ability to read blueprints, follow technical instructions, and use diagnostic tools Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work in crawlspaces, attics, and all weather conditions High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or NATE certification is a plus Physical Requirements: Lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly Stand, kneel, climb ladders, and use hand/power tools for extended periods Work in confined spaces and various indoor/outdoor environments
