What We're Looking For
Role Overview: As a Datavant Trials Delivery Manager, you will drive the implementation of clinical trial tokenization to enable real-world data linkage for Datavant's Life Science customers.
Responsibilities
Project & Program Leadership
Lead end-to-end implementation of tokenization solutions for Datavant-contracted clinical trials, ensuring alignment with study objectives and regulatory/compliance requirements.
Develop project roadmaps, timelines, and key deliverables, ensuring on-time execution and risk mitigation.
Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams (product, technical solutions, engagement management, sales) and external life sciences sponsors, CROs, and eClinical/EDC partners.
Client Engagement
Work with Datavant account teams to build and implement robust training and measurement plans for tokenization solutions for each sponsor.
Act as a trusted advisor for sponsor's clinical study teams, guiding them on tokenization strategies and tactics and providing timely, quality resolution of customer needs.
Coordinate with Customer Support on all trial setup, configuration, and user access management.
Standardize training programs, content, SOPs, and best practices to ensure smooth adoption and continuous improvement.
Program manage portfolio of tokenization activities by site and sponsor.
Track and communicate progress and outcomes to leadership, sponsors, and external stakeholders.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
Define KPIs and monitor tokenization adoption across research sites.
Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives for tokenization processes, leveraging emerging technologies and industry trends.
Collaborate with compliance, legal, and data privacy teams to safeguard patient privacy.
Support audit readiness and contribute to regulatory submissions, inspections, and internal quality assurance processes.
Work with IT and security teams to validate system security, interoperability, and integration with EDC, EHR, and RWD sources.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of the Life Sciences industry, particularly clinical development.
Experience working with clinical operations stakeholders at life sciences organizations, CROs, and eClinical partners.
Lead scoping and delivery of clinical trial engagements, including project and engagement management of clinical data management or healthcare technology implementation.
Competence in scope and expectation management.
Ability to drive project-based work—managing tasks, schedules, deliverables, budgets, and risks in an agile, fast-paced environment.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams and technical SMEs.
Demonstrated flexibility and effectiveness in leadership and team member roles in dynamic environments.
Continuous improvement mindset.
Must live in the Eastern Time Zone (EST); eligible to work in the United States upon day-one.
What Helps You Stand Out
Direct experience working at a clinical trial sponsor.
Passion for leveraging data to drive better healthcare outcomes.
Familiarity with ICH-GCP, GDPR, HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11 or other privacy regulations.
Familiarity with real-world data and/or patient tokenization.
Project management certifications such as Scrum, PMP, or CCRA.
Preference for candidates located on the East Coast or in the Greater NYC or Boston area.
Compensation
The estimated total cash compensation range for this role is: $100,000 — $125,000 USD.
