To learn more visit alti-global.comJob DescriptionWe are looking for a Vice President, Corporate Accountant. The candidate will be responsible for the global consolidation and financial close process, preparation of the Holding Company financial statements and make significant contributions to the preparation of primary financial statements and applicable footnotes in the quarterly Form 10-Q and annual reports Form 10-K that are filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC"). The role will interface with numerous internal and external teams. Job ResponsibilitiesThe Vice President, Corporate Accountant will have responsibility for the consolidation of our two global business divisions, Asset Management and Wealth Management, preparation of Holding Company ledgers and managing intercompany finances (e.g., eliminations and adjustments) between the Holding Company and business divisions. Work cross-functionally across the Company on accounting and SEC reporting matters including the preparation and review of financial statements, footnote disclosures, MD&A, and relevant disclosure checklists for Forms 10-K and 10-Q. Manage the external audit process related to consolidation, Holding Company ledgers and intercompany finances. Assist in the review and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements from subsidiaries. Create consistent and easily reviewable audit work papers and ensure timely and frequent communication with external auditors during quarterly reviews and year-end audits. Assist in the implementation of our global General Ledger, NetSuite, and Corporate Performance Management software, OneStream. Advance and improve workflow surrounding the financial close and consolidation process with a focus on automating and streamlining data submissions. Develop and maintain effective internal controls in relation to the financial reporting process; proactively identify opportunities to enhance internal controls compliance under Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and continuously improve the efficiency of financial operations.Continually research and stay well-informed of US GAAP standards as well as SEC and other regulatory reporting requirements.Review key investor relations materials, such as Earnings Release (8-K) and investor presentations. Work closely with accounting teams across the international Asset Management and Wealth Management divisions. Assist FP&A team with regular forecasts and budgetary process relating to the Holding Company. Assist in the preparation of presentation materials for the executive team.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics CPA designation required5-7 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with combination of experience with a Big 4 public accounting firm and relevant experience at a public company. Experience preparing and/or auditing complex consolidation and intercompany schedules, financial statements, footnotes and disclosures for Forms 10-Q and 10-K is required. Experience with the design, implementation, and testing of internal controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) is preferredHighly proficient in Microsoft Excel Proficiency with reporting software and systems; experience with NetSuite and/or OneStream is highly desirableExposure to acquisition accounting and integrations, purchase price allocations and post M&A financial reporting and systems support is desirableExcellent analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsApplications are strongly encouraged from candidates reflecting diverse educational, cultural, and experiential backgrounds.Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
