Responsibilities: - Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices - Assist in the preparation of dishes according to the recipe or instructions provided - Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe working environment - Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food preparation - Maintain inventory of food supplies and notify the supervisor when items need to be restocked - Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, and equipment after each use - Assist in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements to existing recipes Skills: - Strong cooking skills with knowledge of various culinary techniques - Familiarity with food safety practices and proper food handling procedures - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively - Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other kitchen staff - Attention to detail to ensure accurate measurements and consistent quality of dishes - Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately - Experience in catering or working in a restaurant setting is a plus If you have a passion for cooking and want to be part of a dynamic team in the food industry, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
