Our team is committed to providing trauma-informed, client-centered services that promote lasting recovery.Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented RN to join our team in Huntington, Indiana. This role is integral to supporting clients' medical needs throughout their recovery journey. The RN will manage infection control, conduct patient assessments, handle medical documentation, and facilitate health-related group sessions, all while ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance are maintained.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure infection control practices and reporting procedures are in placeConduct urinalysis toxicology data analysisEnter orders for all clients in the facility as instructedTriage medical issues and perform thorough patient assessmentsDocument client symptoms and health-related complaints in the EMRMaintain communication with scheduling coordinators and doctorsLead HIV/Hepatitis and Nutrition groups and complete associated documentationAttend all scheduled staff meetingsMaintain clear, written logs of client activitiesReport significant questions, concerns, and complaints to counselors or administrative staffComplete all required paperwork including medical logs, shift reports, and MORsMaintain prompt and regular attendanceAssist in the medical training of BHTs as neededBe available for overtime if requiredPerform other duties as assigned by senior managementQualifications/Required ExperienceLicensed Registered Nurse in the state of Indiana with no disciplinary actionsCPR Certification requiredSeveral years of experience in a substance abuse or psychiatric settingStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work 12-hour shifts and must be available to work weekends and have schedule flexibilityEducation & LicensureRegistered Nurse (RN) credential in Indiana requiredCPR certification required and must be maintained during employmentRequirementsRN in the state of IndianaMust be able to work weekendsCPR CertifiedMultiple years of experience in a substance abuse or psychiatric environmentStrong communication skills required (verbal and written)Ability to work 12-hour shifts AND MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS/ FLEXBenefitsBoca Recovery Center offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:Health InsuranceRetirement PlansDisability CoveragePaid Time OffContinuing Education & Professional Development OpportunitiesJoin Boca Recovery Center and make a meaningful impact through expert, compassionate care in a mission-driven environment focused on recovery and wellness.
