Responsibilities include cost estimating, quantity take-offs, conceptual budgeting, bid preparation, and value engineering for large-scale public works projects including treatment plants, pipelines, reservoirs, and pump stations.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and validate cost estimates for heavy civil infrastructure projectsDevelop conceptual budgets and cost models during early design phasesPerform quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and bid preparationSupport water/wastewater projects including treatment plants, reservoirs, pipelines, and pump stationsAnalyze subcontractor scopes and identify gaps between tradesConduct constructability reviews and value engineering assessmentsUtilize estimating software and market analysis to support project planningCollaborate with project teams, public agencies, and stakeholdersQualifications6–12+ years of heavy civil estimating experienceStrong background in Water/Wastewater infrastructure projectsGeneral Contracting experience preferredProficiency with estimating software and digital take-offsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferredStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
