Laboratory TechnicianLocations: Nashville, TN (Onsite) Local to TN candidates onlyThis is a Laboratory Technician position, where a key part of the job will be data entry and accessioning. An employee in this class performs a variety of routine assignments such as:preparation of biological media (petri dish plates, tubed media, and etc.)laboratory reagents and chemical solution preparation (water blanks, pH standards, acid/base solutions, stains, and etc.)glassware washing,equipment maintenance and readinesswarehouse receivingspecimen receipt and accessioningprocedures under minimal supervision all in support of the laboratory.Accessioning and supporting Scientists run their tests.Print Barcode labelsData entry from reports of testing results.This position will work Sunday through Thursday, 7:00 -3:30 and will be housed in our Newborn Screening section of the laboratory. One year of professional, full-time experience in laboratory work is required.
