Surfaces Maintenance Engineer (Bilingual Korean required)\n\nTimpl has partnered with a leading global manufacturer of innovative building\nand industrial materials, specializing in surfaces, flooring, and automotive\ncomponents. And we are looking for a Surfaces Maintenance Engineer \n\n\nPosition Summary: \n\nThis position is for performing engineering activities in order to maintain\nplant equipment and facilities based on each personnel major professional\nexperiences and study. Maintenance engineers are required to understand and\nutilize own skills, knowledge about manufacturing processes,\nequipment/facilities and maintenance job. Maintenance Engineers are a part of\nmaintenance organization and will work with other maintenance team members and\nalso can collaborate daily activities with other organizational members too. \n\n \n\nRole Description: \n\nMaintenance Engineers are responsible of engineering support for the continuous\nrunning of equipment and machinery and also required to participate filed\nmaintenance technical activities as troubleshooting, preventive maintenance\nworks as needed. They will work with other professionals in order to improve\nproduction facilities, reduce the incidence of costly breakdowns and develop\nstrategies to improve overall reliability and safety of plant personnel and the\nproduction process. They will also be in charge projects for maintenance and\nother teams and responsible to accomplish each assignment timely. They need to\nunderstand company business philosophy and strategy and maintenance team\nleader's directions and management strategy to accomplish the goals.\n\n\nRequirements\n\n Essential Duties & Responsibilities:\n\n• Perform typical maintenance tasks (Troubleshooting, engineering, and project\ncontrols, etc)\n\n• Mainly able to execute understanding/operation equipment, processes to support\nmaintenance technicians for their tasks\n\n• Execute any required safety assessment and performance daily during full duty\n\n• Able to control time and schedule to meet target/due date for each assignment\non time\n\n• Summarize work results and record each accomplishment objectively\n\n• Procure tools and equipment, report and documental skill\n\n• Capable to handle and perform spare parts control and know the components for\nequipment operation\n\n• Evaluate and problem solve equipment issues, engineering design and study for\ntasks\n\n• Diagnosing breakdown problems and date collection from actual happening of\nequipment operation\n\n• Controlling maintenance tools and equipment spare parts, components\n\n• Participate and dealing with emergencies and unplanned problems and repairs\n\n• Utilize CMMS(Computerized Maintenance Management System) to complete work\norders, other necessities and also any related systems, software for job\n(AutoCAD)\n\n• Perform main technical major as mechanical, electrical engineering abilities\nand also develop other technical abilities for maintenance performance\n\n• Able to create the documents as report, manual, training material, purchasing,\nand the related in job properly\n\n• Objectively contribute to achieve major maintenance KPI as downtime,\nimprovement, safety, and assignment completion quality\n\n \n\nQualifications: Listed below are the minimum and/or desired qualifications of\nthe position including education, work experience and knowledge & skills that\nare required to perform satisfactorily in the position:\n\nEducation and Work Experience:\n\n \n\n• Preferred 4 years Mechanical Engineering major, Science Bachelor degree with\nover 5 years maintenance or equipment engineering experiences\n\n• Preferred 2 years Mechanical Engineering major, technical college degree with\nover 7 years maintenance or equipment engineering experiences\n\n \n\nKnowledge and Skills:\n\n• Manufacturing process and equipment/facilities\n\n• Mechanical design, components, and theories\n\n• Read mechanical drawing, symbols, and calculations\n\n• Preferred AutoCAD, Mechanical design works \n\n• High level MS Office skills, computer skills for utilizing office systems\n\n• Teamwork, active learning and listening, Critical thinking and professional\nbusiness attitudes\n\n• English & Korean Bilingual\n\n \n\nPhysical Demands: \n\n• Position requires minimal lifting up to 50 lbs.\n\n• Position requires travel up to 10% of time.
