Production OperatorWe are seeking a reliable Production Operator to support daily manufacturing operations. This position involves operating various non-CNC machines, preparing materials, assembling components, inspecting finished parts, and completing production paperwork. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with tools, reading basic drawings, and following detailed instructions.What Youll DoOperate equipment such as lathes, mills, saws, cutting machines, and other shop machinery.Set up and secure materials before starting production.Produce parts according to work orders, drawings, and specifications.Use hand tools, drills, and other equipment for assembly and finishing tasks.Perform basic measurements and inspect parts during production.Record production information and complete required paperwork.Package and label completed products as needed.Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic machine upkeep.Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.Learn and operate different equipment through cross-training.Assist coworkers with training and provide support when needed.Communicate with supervisors regarding priorities, production needs, and potential issues.Follow all safety, quality, and workplace procedures.QualificationsHigh school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience.Manufacturing, machine operation, assembly, or vocational training is a plus.Ability to read and understand basic drawings or blueprints.Comfortable using measuring tools and hand tools.Good basic math and problem-solving skills.Able to follow written and verbal instructions.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Dependable and willing to learn multiple production processes.Ability to work overtime when required.Physical & Work EnvironmentAbility to stand, walk, bend, reach, and use hands throughout the workday.Frequently lift or move materials weighing up to 40 lbs.Work is performed in a manufacturing/shop environment with machinery and varying noise levels.May be exposed to dust, fumes, chemicals, and changing temperatures.Safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required.
