Caregiver/CLS/HHA

Looking in the South Grand Rapids Area Responsibilities: - Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming - Assist with mobility and transferring of clients, including using proper lifting techniques - Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed by healthcare professionals - Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary - Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients - Document client care activities and report any changes in condition to the appropriate supervisor Experience: - Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred - Knowledge of systems for providing care to individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, or other special needs is a plus - Familiarity with home care or nursing home settings is beneficial - Ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages and backgrounds Skills: - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Compassionate and patient demeanor - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively - Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Physical stamina and ability to lift/move heavy objects or individuals when necessary Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
