Apply Today!\n\nBenefits:\n\n\n\tEarn $30.50 - $31.06 per hour*\n\tUp to a $7,500 sign-on bonus for new hires\n\t$600 annual tool allowance\n\tAnnual boot allowance\n\t3rd shift\n\tPaid vacation and holidays\n\tOngoing job skills and leadership development training\n\tCareer growth opportunities – we promote from within!\n\tComprehensive healthcare benefits\n\tEmployee discount programs\n\tReferral programs\n\n\n(*Based on experience and certifications)\n\nWant a Career with Sysco? - Complete the Form Today!\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n\n\tPerform required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment (tractors, trailers, convertor dollies, lift gates, light duty vehicles) to maximize the safety, reliability, and cost efficiency throughout the life cycle of the fleet to include, but not limited to First Article Inspection (FAI)/Commercial Vehicle Inspection (CVI) (annual) Inspections\n\tPerform quality preventive maintenance inspections per company methods on all fleet vehicles including tractors, trailers, converter dollies, lift-gates, light-duty vehicles, and any other company-owned equipment\n\tPerform quality maintenance repairs as required to maximize safety and reliability on all fleet vehicles including tractors, trailers, converter dollies, lift-gates, light-duty vehicles and any company-owned equipment\n\tPerform maintenance repairs on all vehicles such as inspections, scheduled repairs, malfunctions and road-call repairs in a safe, efficient, and quality manner, addressing all Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (VIR) write-ups timely, efficiently and correctly the first time, diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repairs to manufacturer specifications including but not limited to engines, transmissions and clutches, drive-line, differential, steering and suspension, fuel and ignition system, exhaust systems (including regeneration systems), intake systems, electrical systems, brake systems, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems and lift-gate hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems\n\tDocument all work performed on Work Order (SAP) using complaint, cause, and correction format\n\tLearn and develop efficiency in all maintenance related Sysco computer programs\n\n\nQualifications:\n\n\n\tEducation\n\n\t\n\t\tHigh school diploma or equivalent\n\t\tMedium/heavy duty truck technical training 2-year school\n\t\n\t\n\tExperience\n\t\n\t\tEither 1-year experience with 2-year technical degree OR 3 years experience in Fleet Maintenance and Repair\n\t\n\t\n\tCertifications, Licenses, and Registrations\n\t\n\t\tASE Certification; automotive or medium/heavy duty\n\t\tCurrent and valid Drivers License, CDL-A preferred\n\t\tAnnual Inspector Certification knowledge, skills and abilities\n\t\tBrake Inspector Certification knowledge, skills and abilities\n\t\n\t\n\n\nSysco is an Equal Opportunity Employer: All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or other characteristics protected by law.\n\n(*The pay range provided is not indicative of Sysco's actual pay range but is merely algorithmic and provided for generalized comparison.
