Senior Investigator (Naples)
DDC - Due Diligence Consulting LLC specializes in comprehensive, detailed executive background checks, investment due diligence and public records research.DDC has several openings for senior investigators to join our diverse, friendly and collaborative team in beautiful Naples, Florida. These are in-office positions (not remote work) that require long hours of intense concentration in front of screens as you read, evaluate, analyze and summarize large amounts of public data into narrative, business english, reports. In addition, these positions are responsible for training, managing, and supervising research and investigative teams as directed by DDC leadership.There is no sales or business development responsibility for these positions. The focus is on research and investigation.You must be willing to work. You must take pride in your work product. You must be intellectually curious, detail oriented, and self motivated. You must be able to check your own biases, and be able to analyze, summarize and communicate large amounts of information in a clear and concise manner.Strong organization, writing and research skills, and attention to detail are required.English fluency is required.US citizenship or a green card is required.An undergraduate 4 year degree from an accredited university is required. A degree in law, history, english or political science is preferred. A specialized advanced degree, such as an MA in Strategic Intelligence and Analysis, is preferred. An advanced degree such as a JD, or an MBA, is an asset.A minimum of 5 years of prior work experience in corporate intelligence, investment due diligence or private sector investigations is required.A minimum of 5 years of experience in detailed background checks / research, due diligence investigations, and resume verification beyond what a federated database provides, is required.A minimum of 5 years of experience with legal, research and investigative databases such as Bloomberg, Factiva, Lexis, Nexis, Worldcheck, TLO, Pacer, etc. is required.Please note that no matter how much relevant work experience you believe you have, there is a 2 year training period that is required for all DDC employees.We offer a comprehensive training program, merit based bonuses, profit sharing, and opportunities for advancement.The office environment is casual.
