Microbiologist

Key Responsibilities:Perform routine microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished productsConduct assays such as bioburden, sterility, endotoxin, and environmental monitoring (as applicable)Prepare and sterilize media, reagents, and lab suppliesExecute testing according to SOPs, GMP, and GLP guidelinesAccurately document test results and maintain laboratory recordsOperate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipmentIdentify and report deviations, out-of-specification (OOS) results, or abnormalitiesAssist with investigations and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)Maintain a clean and compliant laboratory environmentCollaborate with Quality Assurance and other teams as neededQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry, or related scientific field1–3 years of relevant laboratory or microbiology experienceExperience working in a regulated environment (GMP, ISO, or similar) preferredFamiliarity with aseptic techniques and standard microbiological methodsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures independentlyGood documentation and organizational skills
