As an employee of Sterling Pharmacy, you can expect to be treated with care and respect.** Looking for a Part-time Float Pharmacist working as needed. * Ability to work and travel to Osage, IA and Austin, MN. * We offer a 401(k) program with a company match and a Profit Sharing bonus program.*To learn more about Astrup companies and our history, click this link: *https://astrupcompanies.com/careers*Qualifications:**Required:*o Graduate of an accredited school/college of pharmacy.o Licensed as a Pharmacist in MN and IA.o Must be willing to travel to various Sterling Pharmacy locations*Preferred:*o Detail oriented and very organizedo Able to handle a high stress environmento Two or more years of Pharmacy experience in retail/community setting*Job Description: *The Float Pharmacist will provide pharmacy dispensing and consultation services to Sterling Pharmacy patients and have direct communication with Pharmacy Managers, Store Managers, and/or District Managers.*Core Competencies & Responsibilities:** Travel to various Sterling Pharmacy locations to assist as a Float Pharmacist * Build healthier lives through caring relationships with co-workers and customers * Displays superior customer service, in both attitude and action * Understands the customers needs are the #1 priority above anything else * Assist in training of other staff pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and customer service associates * Receive, process, fill, and check prescriptions accurately and in a timely manner * Respond to all patient inquiries in a timely fashion * Provide the best possible service to patients * Adhere to policies and procedures related to pharmacy operations * Abide by all statutes, rules and regulations related to pharmacy practice, both State and Federal * Represent Sterling Pharmacy as a pharmacist to the general public and at professional events * Collect appropriate information for billing of Medicaid and Medicare for DME and supplies * Ensure that patients are counseled on all new prescriptions and on any refills where there has been a change in therapy or patient condition * Address and resolve patient/employee complaints in the absence of pharmacy manager * Be prepared and willing to perform pharmacy technician and customer service associate duties, as necessary. * Stay current with the latest information on drug therapy and side effects * Complete continuing education requirements of the Board of Pharmacy * Maintain CPR certification * Complete training/certification for administering immunizations and maintain competency * Help the PIC encourage and support employees engaging with customer on all marketing material given by corporate * Participate in expectations with the Profit Incentive Program * Complete other duties as assigned*Performance Requirements:** Possess a thorough knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, and systems * Comply to all Astrup Companies policy and procedures * Create a culture of positivity and excitement within the workplace * Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with other team members.
