In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for a range of kitchen dutiesincluding dishwashing, food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and managing inventory. Yourefforts will ensure a well-organized and efficiently running kitchen that supports our mission ofproviding transformative retreat experiences.About Us: The Hoffman Institute Foundation offers retreat programs designed to foster personalgrowth and healing. Working with us means being part of a supportivecommunity dedicated to creating a positive impact.Key Responsibilities:Dishwashing: Efficiently clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring they aresanitized and ready for use.Food Preparation: Assist with preparing ingredients, including chopping fruits andvegetables, mixing ingredients, and portioning food.Organization: Maintain an orderly kitchen by organizing supplies, cleaning surfaces,and ensuring proper storage of food items.Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, assist with orderingsupplies, and ensure proper rotation of stock.Sanitation: Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure kitchen cleanliness andsanitation, including handling waste and managing compost and recyclables.Equipment Maintenance: Report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment and assistwith minor repairs or maintenance as needed.Support Service: Assist in setting up for events or meals, and provide support duringmeal service to ensure smooth operationsQualifications:Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Reliable, with flexibility in work hours to meet retreat schedules.Team player and able to work independently when needed.Apply now to be a key part of our team and help create a welcoming and nurturing environment
