Founded in 2014 in Wisconsin, EXPO supports and empowers formerly incarcerated individuals to reclaim full participation in their communities. By focusing on structural change and restoration, EXPO works to create policies that support healthy families and safe communities. The organization is led by those directly impacted, with support from families, allies, and community members, striving to end structural discrimination and build a more just society.EXPO of Wisconsin is Hiring: Workforce Development LeadWe are seeking someone to support justice-impacted individuals in moving beyond survival and into meaningful careers, economic mobility, and long-term stability.This is an in-person position based in Madison, Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will have workforce development experience, believe deeply in fair chances for individuals with criminal convictions, and be available Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends for community events, employer engagement, and job fairs.The ideal candidate must also have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and automobile insurance.This salaried position includes health insurance, paid time off, cell phone allowance, automobile allowance, and the opportunity to work with an amazing, mission-driven team.The Workforce Development Lead will build relationships with fair-chance employers, recruit and support participants, prepare individuals for career opportunities, and create real pathways to dignity, purpose, and economic freedom.Lived experience with incarceration or reentry is valued and preferred, but not required.
