Job DescriptionOverview:A current TS/SCI or equivalent clearance at the time of award; orHave held a Top Secret or equivalent clearance which was terminated without prejudice within six (6) months prior to the closing date of this solicitation; orHave been granted a clearance by another agency based on a favorable Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) or Tier 5 Investigation completed within five (5) years prior to the closing date of this solicitation and conducted by an agency or contractor to an agency of the U.S. Government acceptable to DOE and authorized to conduct personnel security investigations; orHave received favorable adjudicated results from a completed Single Scope Background Investigation within ten (10) years with at least an SSBI Periodic Re-investigation within five (5) years (reference DOE Order 472.1b, Personnel Security Activities, dated March 24, 1997).The candidate supporting this position will provide access control at SCIF entrances, escort of personnel for various activities, and control and create badges as needed. Contractor will provide administrative support, to include but not limited to supporting policies, procedures, training materials, and other administrative security functions in support of the Security Division.Education: High School Diploma.Qualifications: To support this positionA minimum of 1 year of experience performing the qualifications associated with this position. This experience may be a combination of private sector, civil service, or military experience.Demonstrated evidence of excellent oral and written communication skills, conflict resolution techniques.Proven ability to perform under pressure to meet tight deadlines, and work effectively with tact and discretion with federal and contractor senior management, guests and senior decision-makers internally and externally.Knowledge of the Intelligence Community policies and directives for security preferred.One (1) year experience with escort procedures within SCI facilities.Functional knowledge of design, installation, and maintenance experience of badge reader systems.Have extensive knowledge of physical security control measures and protocols for SCIF access.Have functional knowledge of the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) policies for security containers and locks. DutiesContractor will be required to interact with Secretarial level government personnel, congressional representatives, members of the military and other civilian government personnel requiring contract personnel to conduct services in a professional and polite manner at all times.Provide unarmed physical access control functions at designed SCIF entrances.Maintain physical security at designated access control station during normal working hours.Process visitors entering SCIF, confirm visitor clearance levels, issue visitor badges, and maintain SCIF visitor logs.Provide customer service as necessary to SCIF visitors.Enforce SCIF rules and regulations.Provide review, analysis, development, and tracking of internal and external policies and procedures.May be required to provide on-call/emergency and after-hours support, and have functional knowledge of emergency action protocolsAssist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures and standardized formsPrepare, staff, and track general correspondence.Company DescriptionConduct administrative security functions as required.A-Tech Systems, Inc.
