Firmware Engineer

Position: Firmware Engineer-UEFILocation: Remond, WAPosition Duration: Direct Hire (Full time) OR Long Term Contract (Both)Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced UEFI / Embedded Firmware Engineer to work on modern computing platforms, supporting firmware development from early platform bring‑up through system validation and release. This role involves close collaboration with hardware, system, and silicon partner teams to deliver production‑ready firmware.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, integrate, and maintain UEFI, MCU, and embedded firmware (C/C++)Support new platform bring‑up and early hardware enablementDebug and resolve system‑level stability, performance, and reliability issuesCollaborate with hardware, validation, system, and silicon partner teamsContribute to firmware validation, automation, and CI/CD workflowsDeliver high‑quality firmware fixes aligned with schedule and quality goalsRequired QualificationsStrong experience in UEFI and low‑level firmware development (C/C++)Hands‑on experience with MCU firmware, BSP integration, and OS/driver interactionsProven ability to debug hardware–firmware–software issuesExperience working in cross‑vendor or multi‑company environmentsFamiliarity with source control, build systems, and CI pipelinesPreferred ExperiencePlatform bring‑up for consumer or commercial devicesCollaboration with silicon partners during enablement and stabilizationExperience in firmware validation or test infrastructureAbility to work in onsite or hybrid engineering environments
