Please note that this is a short term, temporary position expected to last 2 months*The Role, At a GlanceThe Customer Support Specialist I is responsible for processing orders using our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, managing the order through the fulfillment process using a ticketing system and providing Biamp customers with the highest level of service possible. Compenation for this role is $20.50 per hour.How You'll ContributeRespond to inquiries by providing timely and thorough resolution for issues to ensure customer satisfactionHandle day-to-day correspondence via email /ticketing system & phoneUtilize company ERP system to process purchase orders accurately and efficientlyUse company CRM system to manage work queue and verify customer product certifications before processing purchase ordersAnswer customer inquiries via phone and email regarding lead time, the status of purchase orders, back-ordered materials, etcReview purchase orders against quotes to verify pricing before booking into the ERP systemWork to resolve pricing issues on purchase orders as they occurBuild rapport with customers by providing exceptional service through all interactionsYou'll Also Support WithWorking with sales team to obtain approval on drop-ship orders and to verify discounts listed on purchase orders are validWorking with sales operations team to prioritize orders as needed when inventory is limitedReviewing and execute change orders/correction requestsOther duties as assigned by Coordinator / SupervisorA Successful Candidate Should HaveExcellent written and verbal communication skillAbility to work in a team settingBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks and meet daily deadlinesEmbrace continuous improvement philosophyHigh School Graduate and 6 Months+ relevant experience in customer service and export logisticsExperience with professional phone interactions on a B2B level is preferredExperience with an ERP and ticketing system is preferredWork EnvironmentProfessional in-office environmentNo travel is expected for this positionWho is Biamp?We make the world’s most extraordinary audio and video solutions.
