Our food runner postion plays a critical role in maintaining service efficiency, food accuracy, and guest safety. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to perform under pressure. The ideal candidate understands the importance of seat numbers, allergy protocols, and precise plate delivery in a high-volume environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver food quickly and accurately using proper seat numbers-no "auctioning" foodVerify each dish against the ticket before leaving the kitchenClearly identify and confirm allergy-specific meals before delivering to the tableCommunicate directly with expo, kitchen staff, and servers regarding modifications and allergy alertsAnnounce dishes confidently and confirm with guests when delivering allergy-sensitive itemsEnsure proper food handling procedures are followed at all timesMaintain cleanliness and organization of expo line and service stationsAssist servers with table maintenance and guest needs when appropriateSupport smooth communication between front and back of house during peak serviceQualificationsAbility to memorize table layouts and seat numbering systemStrong attention to detail and accuracy under pressureUnderstanding of food allergies and cross-contact prevention (training provided)Clear, confident communication skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume settingTeam-oriented mindset with strong sense of urgencyPrior restaurant or food running experience preferredEqual Opportunity Employer
