Summary:The Senior Compensation Analyst is responsible for providing senior level support to GEODIS Americas in the development and administration of compensation programs for all employees by managing, coordinating and upholding compensation programs and/or philosophies. We operate a Hybrid schedule with 4 days a week on office.Job Duties:Performs benchmarking, analyzes internal and external pay data and makes recommendation for salary changes to ensure equityAdvises management on compensation actions for employeesReviews proposed salary actions to ensure conformance with established guidelines and policiesParticipates in salary surveys and analyzes resultsAssists in updating company pay gradesWrites and maintains job descriptions for all business unitsPerforms job analysis and reviews proposals for new or revised classifications to determine appropriate exemption assignment and pay according to the FLSA regulationsManages the job title database in the HRISAudits system job codes, title exemption status and job titles on an ongoing basisProvides salary data for RFPs, account startups and other hiring needsManages the non-exempt common review date process for assigned locationsAssists with design and management of the awards and recognition programs for the CompanyAssists with design and documentation of hourly incentive plans for assigned locationsAssists with the exempt common review date for all exempt employeesAssists in providing feedback on employee reviewsProvides reports relating to salary increases, bonus payments, job codes, EEO group and titles as neededEvaluates and improves compensation processes, forms and spreadsheets on an ongoing basisServes as a source of guidance and mentoring to the Compensation AnalystWorks with C-level Executives on compensation issuesAssists VP of Total Rewards and the Senior Compensation Manager with global compensation projectsParticipates in human resources related special projects as neededOther duties as required and assignedRequirements:Bachelor's degree from a 4 year college or universityMinimum 4 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experienceKnowledge of compensation principlesComprehensive legal and compliance knowledge basic Human Resources laws and regulationsPrior experience working with HRIS systemsStrong Excel experience, to include: v-look up and conditional formulasPC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and ExcelExcellent written and oral communication skills that demonstrate a proven ability to develop relationships with a range of internal and external customersAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualAbility to write routine reports and correspondenceAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
