Desktop Support Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to provide technical assistance and support to our organization's desktop computers and end-users. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in LAN, computer hardware, computer networking, Linux, Windows, firewall, VPN, and help desk support. Duties - Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop hardware and software - Provide technical support for desktop computers, printers, and peripherals - Set up and maintain user accounts and profiles - Assist with network connectivity issues including LAN and VPN configurations - Perform routine maintenance on desktop systems - Respond to help desk tickets in a timely manner - Collaborate with IT team members to resolve technical issues Requirements - Proficiency in analyzing and resolving technical issues - Knowledge of computer management tools and techniques - Familiarity with various operating systems including Linux and Windows - Strong understanding of firewall configurations - Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $35.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Work Location: In person
