Direct Support Professional DSP – IMMEDIATE HIRING The pay rate for this position is $19 per hour Various shift available that would suit your current schedule The role of a Direct Support Professional (DSP) is more than a job it is a career that makes a positive impact every day in the lives of people with Developmental and.or intellectual disabilities. As a DSP you are directly responsible for the people supported and their overall safety and well-being, helping them achieve a rich and full life. Requirements: GED or High School Diploma Required Valid NJ or out of state Driver’s License Registered and Insured Vehicle Prior experience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities CPR & First Aide Certification Responsibilities: Provide support in the home and community including activities that encourage independence, community engagement, and group recreation trips or outings. Provide support and training for each person based on their wants, needs, and goals. Drive clients to appointments and use safe driving best practices. Have scheduling flexibility; may be required to work with adjustments to the normal shift Assist with activities of daily living, including self-care, to the extent needed Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $19.00 per hour Schedule: 10 hour shift 12 hour shift 4 hour shift 8 hour shift Day shift Evening shift Monday to Friday Night shift Weekends as needed Education: High school or equivalent (Required) License/Certification: CPR Certification (Required) Driver's License (Required) First Aid Certification (Required) Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred) Night Shift (Preferred) Overnight Shift (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Bridgewater, NJ (Required) Work Location: In person
