Senior Plant Engineer

Responsibilities · Establish standards and policies for installation, modification, quality control, testing, inspection and maintenance · Prepare project scopes, schedules and coordinating work between in-house resources and contractors · Collaborates with the Operations manager, perform hands-on troubleshooting of basic electrical and mechanical issues with pumps, motors, sensors, valves, etc. · Directs the maintenance of plant equipment and coordinates the requirements for new designs, surveys and maintenance schedules · Develop and prepare engineering and operational estimates for capital improvements · Develop, maintain, and communicates key production, financial, quality, operating expense & cost metrics · Other duties, as needed Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, required At least 5 years of process engineering experience in wastewater treatment or plant operations Proficient in reading and understanding mechanical drawings and schematics PLC experience with ability to read ladder diagrams, VFD experience highly preferred Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively with others Job Type: Full-time Pay: $90,509.70 - $109,000.92 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Ability to Commute: Columbus, OH 43085 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Columbus, OH 43085: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
