Engineering Specialist IV

Position Overview Perform engineering work, as a technical expert on complex and specialist subject(s). Supports management with the analysis, interpretation, and application of complex information.Essential Job Duties / ResponsibilitiesResponds to issues related to environment, hardware, system, and/or software and implements resolution across technology areas.Supports multiple systems simultaneously and provides leadership for large project efforts.Perform one or more of the following activities: Configuration Management, System Administration, Security Administration, Network Administration, Development System Implementation, and/or Production System Implementation.Provide support or lead activities related to change management, outage management, and/or project management.Provides mentoring for the development of less senior staff.Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent work experience plus seven (7) years of experience in information technology or engineering environment.Knowledge of capital planning and forecasting.Strong analytical, problem solving, and time management.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong computer skills, hardware, software, and systems.Ability to mentor, coach and serve as a knowledge resource to other employees.Job Conditions Some travel required.Preferred Qualifications Experience designing, operating, and maintaining SD‑WAN, Edge and Data Center switches, wireless infrastructure, and firewalls. Proven experience in automation and scripting. Strong analysis skills and process management.
