Java Software Engineer

Job Description: Java Software Engineers Investment Experience Technical Expertise:

• Modern software engineering, including proficiency in languages and frameworks relevant to our technology stack
• Investment Accounting platform (or otherwise significant work in the investment technology space) development and functional knowledge in the following areas:
• Core Operations: Multicurrency Fund Accounting, Institutional Operations, and Custody
• Controls & Processing: Exception Management, NAV controls, and SWIFT processing
• Technology & Integration: Event orchestration, enterprise interfaces, and system integrations
• Accounting Domains: Wealth Accounting and Investment Accounting
• Portfolio Management: Investment Selection, Portfolio Composition, Asset Allocation, and Optimization
• Reporting & Settlements: Financial Reporting and trade/settlement processing
• Microservices architecture, API design, and event-driven systems
• Event based architecture
• Java, SQL, Kubernetes, Github, RedisCloud-native development and deployment - Azure, Snowflake, PostgresCI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and DevOps practices
• Multi-tenancy
• Data governance and quality controlsLLMs and Agentic Infrastructure, LLM Prompt Engineering, MCP, RAGPythonMicroservices Architecture

Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate effectively with project stakeholders. Ability to document technical decisions, design rationale, and code architecture made during development. Experience with Agile workflows and participation in sprint meetings, stand-ups, or Kanban boards (e.g., JIRA).
