Lab Technician

This position is responsible for the receipt, organization, testing, and reporting of daily patient specimens in various testing. The laboratory technician will adhere to protocols and quality measures while performing sample preparation and analyzing patient results.Job ResponsibilitiesAccession orders, analyze, review, and release toxicology and molecular data through LISMaintain accurate error logs daily and communicate errors to appropriate locations/personnelMaintain laboratory records, maintenance logs, temperature logs, and other documents as neededPerforms and reviews drug screening and evaluates data (on urinalysis analyzers and HPLC-MS/MS)Assists in DNA/RNA extraction and performing diagnostic PCR testingAdhere to policies and proceduresComply with safety and compliance regulations· Train on all laboratory testing and help other areas as directed.
