We move fast, care deeply about quality, and believe the best products come from people with taste, ownership, and strong first-person product conviction.The opportunityWe are hiring a Senior Mobile Engineer to own and elevate Lumia's mobile experience end to end.You will own the delivery of hero features from requirements through production release, drive seamless hardware-to-app connectivity that users never have to think about, level up the mobile team's execution standards, and ship Android to feature parity with iOS.You will work directly with Product, Design, Algorithms, and Firmware teams to build a mobile experience that makes complex biometric hardware feel effortless and indispensable. This is a high-ownership role where your fingerprints show in every release.What success looks likeAt least one complete hero feature shipped per two-week sprint, from requirements through production with no regressionsBug and improvement tickets move from triage to in-release in under 6 hours on average99%+ successful first-time pairing and robust background data sync so users never feel the hardware layerMobile team execution elevated through code review standards, documented best practices, and a clear operating rhythmAndroid launched at full feature parity with iOS as a stable, production-grade experienceWhat you will doOwn hero features end to end from design handoff through production release, with a zero-regression standardBuild and maintain robust BLE connectivity between Lumia earrings and the app, including background syncDebug complex hardware and software interaction issues across the firmware and app stackSet and enforce code review standards that raise the quality floor for the whole teamRun a clear weekly and sprint-level operating rhythm the team can execute againstLead the Android buildout to full feature parity with iOSMake sound architectural decisions that scale as the product and team growUnblock and develop other engineers through hands-on mentorshipWhat we are looking for6+ years of mobile engineering experience with strong Flutter and Dart requiredExperience with BLE or other hardware connectivity protocolsTrack record shipping consumer apps with high reliability and quality standardsExperience leading or mentoring mobile engineersHealth tech, wearables, or hardware-adjacent product experience is a strong plusHow you think and workFirst-person product instinctBias to buildingIntellectual horsepowerAttention to detailCalibrated judgmentYou live the product, lead through doing, and treat quality as your problem rather than someone else's job.
