Position: Full Stack Drupal DeveloperLocation: San Jose, CA 95118 (Onsite)Type: Long-Term ContractFunction: Information Technology Role OverviewWe are seeking a Full Stack Drupal Developer to lead modernization and support of enterprise web platforms. This role focuses on Drupal upgrades, cloud migration, security hardening, and full-stack development, with additional exposure to GIS-enabled applications.The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience with Drupal architecture, PHP/Symfony, and cloud-based environments, along with the ability to work across multiple business units. Key ResponsibilitiesDrupal Modernization & MigrationUpgrade applications from Drupal 10 to Drupal 11Lead migration from on-premise infrastructure to cloud (OCI)Manage content migration, module compatibility, and environment transitionsDevelopment & SupportDevelop and maintain Drupal-based web applications and CMS platformsBuild new web pages and features for internal business unitsPerform Drupal site building, theming, and module configurationSupport and enhance multiple enterprise websitesSecurity & PerformanceIdentify and remediate security vulnerabilitiesApply patches and implement website hardening best practicesFix browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness issuesEnsure accessibility compliance (ADA/WCAG)System Analysis & CollaborationAnalyze complex system requirements and deliver scalable solutionsSupport GIS-integrated applications and data-driven web featuresCollaborate with stakeholders and provide technical recommendationsTrain users and support internal teams as needed Required Skills5+ years of experience in Drupal developmentStrong experience with:Drupal site building and themingDrupal upgrades and content migrationModule installation and configurationStrong backend experience with:PHPSymfony componentsMySQL or MariaDBREST APIsExperience with:Security patching and vulnerability remediationLinux and Windows environmentsCMS platforms (Drupal, WordPress, or similar)Preferred SkillsExperience with cloud infrastructure (OCI preferred)Experience with GIS applications or spatial data systemsExperience with accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA)Experience leading or mentoring junior developers EducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
