Working under the general direction of the Facilities Manager, the Planner will be responsible for facilities space allocation, planning, renovation and new build to maintain a safe and efficient work environment that is consistent with BAE Systems space standards. This role will liaison and coordinate with other departments, vendors, contractors and engineers to meet space planning requirements throughout changing and evolving workplace needs. This role is responsible for:Ensure proper functioning of facilities office, meeting, and break areasEnsure new space standards meet BAE Systems workplace standardsMake recommendations for products and servicesMonitor and report renovation/new build activitiesAssist in the planning of office space allocation and trackingUtilize space planning and tracking software TririgaCoordinate with Safety and other departments to ensure best practices are facilitated and followedHelp ensure optimal utilization of the facility and its assets by assessing/evaluating the physical space requirementsRequired Education, Experience, & SkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent relevent certificationA fundamental understanding of Facility requirements relating to efficient space utilization, ergonomics and layoutWorking knowledge of MS OfficePreferred Education, Experience, & SkillsBasic familiarity of Tririga and AutoCAD2+ years of related experience preferredPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $54392 - $92498Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
