Join Korry Electronics as a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design high-performance avionics displays. You will lead full-cycle development—including part design, thermal/stress analysis, and root cause investigations—creating innovative cockpit solutions for the world’s most advanced aircraft.
What You Will Do:
As a key contributor to our multi-disciplined team, you will handle part design, root cause analysis, and perform critical stress, thermal, and tolerance modeling. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating directly with customers to derive requirements and solve complex technical challenges. We are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented engineer who is ready to innovate next-generation cockpit solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
Participate in and lead cross functional teams to create, release and support state of the art products.
Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
Oversee and participate in product validation and qualification testing.
Manage the design of electromechanical systems to meet customer requirements.
Partner with customers and vendors to resolve technical issues.
Analyze, optimize, build, test, and refine new products and sustaining solutions to meet functional, cost, reliability, and manufacturability goals.
Apply your expertise in prototyping, manufacturing processes, materials, post-processes, coatings & finishes.
Create and modify 3D models, component drawings and assembly drawings using PTC CREO and Windchill
Conduct failure analysis to determine root cause and correct issues.
Manage documentation and maintain configuration control and export compliance in a PLM system.
Mentor and coach other engineers.
Preferred Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related degree (equivalent experience may qualify).
Minimum 5 years of experience.
Experience with lighting technologies preferred.
Experience with 3D CAD modeling software, PTC WF4 or CREO is preferred.
Experience within a manufacturing environment, dealing with aerospace or in a highly regulated industry desired.
Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Salary Range
Please note the typical hiring range is $127,250 - $172,500 annually. Job offers within the range are based on significant job qualifications and pay equity.
