Parts and Labor Specialist

Job Overview: Pure Powersports of Minot is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Parts and Labor Specialist to join our dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for managing parts inventory, coordinating labor operations, and ensuring a seamless workflow between the service department and customers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, be highly organized, and have a strong understanding of powersports vehicles and their components. Key Responsibilities: Greet customers when they hit the laminate floor Make sure phones are answered in minimal rings Assist customers with finding P&A needs Write repair orders, help customers load & unload machines Call and follow up with service customers on status of units Stock & display parts dept. Assist sales reps with customers P&A needs Assist techs with looking up parts Pull P&A for techs & sales Keep parts dept. clean & organized (Colton back room) Try to up-sale customers (extra lines) Track personal and store goals while being conscious of improvements needed to obtain them. Make sure money drawer is secure at night Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field preferred. Prior experience in a parts department or service advisor role in the powersports, automotive, or marine industry. Familiarity with powersports vehicles, including motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles, and watercraft. Proficiency in parts management software and inventory systems. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with an eye for detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Knowledge of labor estimating practices and scheduling.
