Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Maintenance Director at CWS Apartment Homes, located in Greater Sacramento. The Maintenance Director will oversee the daily operations of property maintenance, including facility management, repair, and upkeep. Key responsibilities include supervising maintenance staff, managing service requests, coordinating preventative maintenance plans, and ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained community. The role requires collaboration with the property management team to prioritize and execute maintenance projects effectively. Qualifications Proficiency in Maintenance & Repair with knowledge of carpentry, systems maintenance, and troubleshootingExperience in Facility Management (FM) and Maintenance Management to ensure the community operates efficientlyStrong Supervisory Skills with the ability to lead, mentor, and manage a diverse maintenance teamExcellent organizational, problem-solving, communication, and time-management skillsKnowledge of safety regulations, compliance standards, and the ability to maintain a safe work environmentRelevant certifications such as HVAC, EPA, or CAMT are a plusHigh school diploma or GED required, with advanced technical training preferred
