Part-Time Controller — Family-Owned Business (15–20 hrs/week, Hybrid, Westminster MD)Condon's Auto Parts is a third-generation family business founded in 1954. We've grown to 30+ employees serving repair shops, dealers, and brokers across Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Delaware, and beyond. We're privately held, financially conservative, and built for the long haul.We're looking for an experienced controller to join us part-time — 15 to 20 hours a week, mostly on-site, with real flexibility on which hours and which days. This role is a great fit for someone who has done the full-time grind already and wants meaningful work without giving up the rest of their life. If you're a parent who needs to be home before the school bus, or someone who has stepped back from a controller or CFO seat and isn't ready to fully retire, we'd genuinely like to talk.What you'd own:Monthly close and financial reporting we can actually use to make decisionsAP/AR oversight — we have a bookkeeper handling the day-to-day; you'd review and improve the processPayroll oversight and complianceCoordinating with our outside CPA on tax mattersMost importantly: helping the owner think through how to grow revenue and margin while protecting cash flow.
