Our teams collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and operations to deliver innovative solutions that support complex technical programs.Position OverviewOKSI is seeking a Shift Manager to oversee operational activities during assigned shifts and ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company quality standards. This role supervises technicians and operational staff, coordinates daily workflow, and helps ensure production schedules and operational objectives are met. The Shift Manager works closely with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to maintain workflow continuity and support program delivery.What You Will DoOversee operational activities during assigned shifts to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to scheduleSupervise technicians and operational staff, providing direction and support to maintain a productive work environmentCoordinate daily workflow, work assignments, and priorities to support operational and program deadlinesEnsure work activities meet company quality standards and follow required procedures and documentation practicesIdentify and address operational issues including equipment concerns, workflow disruptions, or material shortagesCollaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve operational challenges and maintain continuity of workPromote adherence to company safety policies and ensure safe work practices are followedMaintain shift reports and operational records and communicate status updates to managementSupport continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, workflow, and operational effectivenessRequirementsMinimum of five years of experience in operations, manufacturing, production, or technical environmentsExperience supervising technicians or operational teamsStrong leadership and team coordination skillsAbility to manage operational activities in a fast paced environmentStrong organizational, problem solving, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to operational challengesPreferred QualificationsExperience working in engineering, manufacturing, or technology organizationsExperience supporting aerospace, defense, or regulated industriesFamiliarity with quality systems and operational procedures in regulated environmentsExperience coordinating workflow and resolving operational issues across teamsWork Environment and ScheduleFull-time positionShift 1: 0700 - 1530Shift 2: 1330 - 2200Compensation and BenefitsSalary range: $69,640 - $93,640 annually.Medical, dental, and vision coverage fully paid by the employer for employees.Three weeks of vacation to start Automatic company contribution to 401K – 5% of earned wages (no matching required)Educational assistance and professional development opportunitiesIn-office (St. Petersburg, FL or Torrance, CA) or remote work (United States) available (position dependent)Additional RequirementsYou must have, or be eligible to obtain, a U.S. Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
