Job Summary As a part time driver for Hydro Plus, you will be responsible for delivering chemicals and other goods to customers around the Big Country area. All deliveries are short trips out and back ranging from just a few minutes out and back, to 6 hours round trip depending on the day. You will be responsible for loading and unloading your truck, proper DOT Tie down of totes and drums, maintaining driver logs, proper use of PPE, and pumping of chemicals to customers receptacles. Daily Responsiblities: Complete skid steer inspection, daily at the start of work, and end of each workday. Vehicle and Trailer inspections are to be completed before and after every run. Filled out and completion all proper paperwork including BOL and SDS sheets prior to all deliveries. Truck/trailer is properly placarded for the product that is being delivered on all four sides. Load the truck/trailer with the appropriate totes, drums, and IBCs for that days client. Check the truck to make sure the appropriate PPE, tools, and equipment is loaded and accessible for the specific delivery type. Ensure all loads are properly secured for travel. Upon returning from the delivery, the driver will unload empty totes, drums, and IBCs, wash all equipment used for chemical delivery, wash out hoses, and prep vehicles for the following day. Ensure all equipment has been properly stowed, tools have been put in their designated place, and truck/trailer has been parked in designated spots at the end of your day. Maintain your timecard responsibly. Other Responsibilities are as follows: Maintain the yard and facilities for cleanliness, safety, and operational usage. Occasional facility preparation for inclement weather. Cleaning, performing, and scheduling the maintenance for the vehicles and equipment. Monitor and report any safety issues. Monitor and report any inventory needs. Weekly checklist of facility cleaning and maintenance. Requirements: Clean driving history CDL Class-A Hazmat certification is a plus Must be able to pass a drug and background check upon hiring Basic computer skills, such as email and basic system entry Excellent communication skills with both the office and clients You will be working alongside a small dedicated staff where quality and excellent customer service is highest priority! This position will be flexible in hours, and will vary day to day based on the needed deliveries and distance for each day traveled. Some days will be a single run, and some days may have 2 or 3 local short trips. This will allow for afternoons and evenings available nightly! Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour Work Location: In person
