This role supports welders in fabricating and assembling metal structures and components. Ideal candidates will be dependable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn a skilled trade.Responsibilities:Assist welders with setup and cleanup of work areasPrepare materials for welding (cutting, grinding, cleaning)Operate basic hand and power toolsMove and position materials using hoists or other equipmentMaintain a clean and safe work environmentPerform other tasks as needed to support the welding teamRequirements:Previous experience in a shop or construction environment preferredAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsWillingness to follow safety protocolsReliable transportation and good attendanceStrong work ethic and willingness to learnInter/Intra state travelheavy equipment operator (forklift, telehandler, man lift) certifications not required but preferredBenefits:Competitive payOpportunities for advancementOn-the-job training
