Material HandlerThe Material Handler will be responsible for pumping, pouring, blending, and packaging chemicals according to batch manufacturing instructions. The role requires adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations while pulling quality control approved materials from inventory using equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks. The candidate will also perform physical inventories and maintain inventory counts through proper documentation.ResponsibilitiesFollow instructions and weigh quantities of powdered or liquid chemicals into appropriate mixing containers or tanks.Blend, sample, pump, and package finished products into totes.Pull required raw materials from the warehouse as detailed in batch sheets.Maintain daily inventory counts.Operate all mechanical devices used in the production area.Properly label all containers.Move finished goods to designated areas in the warehouse using a forklift or reach truck.Essential SkillsForklift operationMixing and blending chemicalsPackaging and production equipment operationInventory managementAdditional Skills & Qualifications1+ year of experience in warehouse or chemical manufacturingAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsMathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of all units of measurePhysical ability to lift 51-100 lbs frequently and over 100 lbs occasionallyWhy Work Here?Join a small, family-oriented team where many employees have worked for over 20 years.
