Systems Administrator II

Position is contingent upon contract award and funding.Entarian is seeking a Systems Administrator in Dam Neck, VA to support C4ISR Sustainment activities. This requirement covers Field Service Representative (FSR), Fielding, Training, Supply Chain Management (SCM) and maintenance support for Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems at garrison, deployed and shipboard locations worldwide.Working as part of a team, the Senior Systems Administrator's responsibilities could include:Daily support of Windows, Linux, prod, test, and development environmentsCoordinate with the Data Center, for TEST and PROD sustainment to include, but not limited to operating system/software End of Life, Vulnerability remediation/reporting, ACAS/SCAP review/finding remediation, and Evaluate environments to determine if there are any opportunities for cost savingsTroubleshoot complex hardware and software problems, taking appropriate corrective action and/or interacting with IT staff or customers in performing dynamic testing, support and troubleshooting functions with little to no supervisionPerform complex computing environment build-outs, user training, installation, maintenance and support with emphasis on documentation of operating procedures and processesProvide support of Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, etc.Provide on-call support and maintenance duties as required.Monitor server performance/capacity, forecast system demands, recommend upgrades, expansions, and reconfigurationsSalary Range: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00Minimum QualificationsBachelor's level degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems3 years professional experience in systems administration:Software development and integration for military C4I systems including experience designing and fielding cloud based solutions in AWS and AzureDeveloping, migrating, and deploying DOD applications to cloud platforms using DevSecOps methodologies Experience shall include the use of continuous development and integration, delivery and deployment pipelinesAbility to obtain and maintain a Top Secret SCI clearanceAbout UsFormed through the strategic union of Sev1Tech and ERT, Entarian is a premier provider of mission-critical engineering and technology solutions.
