Picker Packer

Title: Production PackerLocation: Detroit, MIShift:1st shift; 6AM-4PM2nd shift; 4PM-2AMMon-Fri with some SaturdaysJob Summary: As a production packer you may be responsible for stacking boxes 3-4 feet high, that weigh up to 20 pounds. You will also be responsible for shrink wrapping and/or packaging up to 25 pounds. --- As a picker packer, you will be responsible for lifting 20-pound boxes and stacking them waste level high. You can be asked to wrap plastic around pallets and also inserting the material inside packages. --- As a warehouse worker, you will be asked to undergo warehouse work, that can consist of packaging, plastic wrapping and palletizing up to 20 pounds. --- As a beef packager, you will be asked to pack, palletize, and shrink wrap boxes with beef that will be weighed up to 20 pounds.Requirements:The ability to work in a cold environment (40-50 degrees)The ability to stand for 10 or more hours per shiftThe ability to uphold safe food processing standardsThe ability to comfortably lift 20 pounds routinelyLabor ready, ability to package handle up to 20 pound boxesUndergo assembly work and keep up with warehouse expectationsRequirementsBenefits:2-weeks PTO in your 1st year of employmentPaid HolidaysBlue Cross Blue Shield Health care 3 levelsAnnual compensation401k
