The Learning Experience in Enfield is seeking a positive, passionate, organized, energetic and team-oriented Curriculum Coordinator to lead curriculum implementation and mentor teacher development.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesLead and support implementation of the TLE curriculum throughout all classroomsImplementation and coaching of teachers of our L.E.A.P. Curriculum, working with Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each childCoach, train, mentor, and model best practices for teachers dailyModel, coach, and collaborate on the use of differentiated materials and instructional strategies.Coach teachers on effective planning, instruction, and assessment of the curriculumCollaborate with teachers on lesson plan design and implementationConduct classroom observations and provide ongoing feedback and supportSupport lesson planning, curriculum preparation, and classroom environmentsEnsure classrooms maintain developmentally appropriate practices and school readiness standardsBuild strong relationships with families through communication, conferences, and engagement opportunitiesSupport onboarding and training of new teachersMaintain compliance with licensing, accreditation, and TLE operational standardsAssist leadership team with transitions, classroom support, and school-wide initiativesParticipate in family events, trainings, and leadership meetingsMust be flexible with scheduling needs, including opening, closing, and occasional extended hours based on school needsProvide ongoing support of when needed in the classroomAbility to supervise, support and evaluate teachersWork with management in ordering curriculum suppliesQualifications And StrengthsStrong collaborative and interpersonal skills to lead teachers, communicate with parents, and with center management.Knowledge of best practice in instruction and assessment;At least 1 year minimum of experience working in the classroom environment, as a teacher (2+ years preferred)Administrative experience in curriculum/instruction preferredAbility to speak effectively before administrators, staff, parents and studentsAbility to establish and maintain a positive and respectful working relationships with students, staff and the communityAbility to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written formCompensation: $18.00 - $21.00 per hourAt The Learning Experience, we make early education joyful, engaging and fun so children are happy to learn, play and grow.Our curriculum focuses on the six ages and stages of early childhood development and engages children in hands-on learning activities that encourage them to explore and solve problems at their own rate of development.
