What You’ll Do
Providers can expect a consistent 37.5 hour/week schedule during school hours (8:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday)
Deliver direct services & conduct Speech Language Pathologist evaluations
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), focusing on specific SLP goals
Effectively communicate with parents, staff, and students regarding progress
Complete essential documentation
Meet with teachers, paraprofessionals, and specialists to discuss student needs, adaptations, and interventions
Actively participate in team meetings and work collaboratively to ensure every student's success
What You’ll Need
Missouri State license
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
State-specific experience in Missouri
Familiarity with PowerSchool
Comfort with technology and virtual telehealth platforms

Compensation
The rates below apply to 1099 opportunities and are based on the provider’s primary service delivery state. W-2 positions may also be available depending on active state licenses, weekly availability, and district needs.
CA: $66-$68/hour
NY, WA: $62-$64/hour
IL, IN, MA, MO, OR: $56-$58/hour
CO, ME, MI: $54-$56/hour
AL, AR, AZ, GA, KS, KY, MS, NC, OH, OK, PA, SD, TN, TX, VA, WV: $52-$54/hour
Cross-Licensing and Additional Opportunities
If you do not currently hold a Missouri license but meet the other qualifications, we still encourage you to apply. Parallel supports qualified SLPs who are interested in obtaining additional state licenses. Guidance is available throughout the cross-licensing process, and eligible licensure costs may be reimbursed after assignment acceptance.
If you hold active SLP licenses in multiple states, please list all of them with your application. We hire for remote school-based opportunities across multiple states throughout the year.
