Business Development Manager (Technical Staffing)
Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to drive client acquisition and revenue growth in the technical staffing space. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key clients, and supporting end-to-end sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities within leading technology companies (e.g., Google, Meta, HP, Apple, Cisco, Intel, NVIDIA, Netflix, LinkedIn, Salesforce, etc.)
Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive staffing engagements
Leverage tools such as LinkedIn and other platforms to identify hiring needs and target accounts
Conduct outbound prospecting, including cold calls, emails, and in-person client visits
Partner with internal recruiting teams to deliver qualified candidates and meet client requirements
Support contract negotiations and ensure successful deal closure
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in technical staffing sales or business development
Proven track record of client acquisition and revenue generation
Existing network or experience working with major tech companies is highly preferred
Familiarity with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn and market mapping techniques
Technical background (Engineering degree or relevant knowledge) is a plus
Strong communication skills, proactive mindset, and ability to build rapport with clients
Comfortable with cold outreach and on-site client engagement
Location
Bay Area preferred; open to candidates across California
Pay Structure
Base pay (120k-150k) + commissions
