Application Development & Data Linking Platforms

Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain applications that support data review and link analysis across large datasets Build and enhance backend services, APIs, and database-driven applications Develop user-facing features and tools that enable analysts to easily interpret and connect data Perform data modeling and implement data-linking logic to support investigative use cases Support full system lifecycle including development, testing, deployment, and ongoing O&M Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, optimize performance, and implement enhancements Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and iterative delivery Conduct technical research and contribute to continuous improvement of application capabilities Ensure adherence to secure development practices and government cybersecurity standards Required Skills & Qualifications Strong experience in full-stack development using languages such as Python, Java, or .NET (C# preferred) Proficiency in database design, SQL, and working with large, complex datasets Experience developing APIs and data-driven applications Ability to design and implement data-linking or relationship-mapping solutions (e.g., entity resolution, graph concepts) Experience building user-facing analytical tools (e.g., dashboards, search, data visualization interfaces) Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira) Experience supporting both development and operations/maintenance (O&M) environments Understanding of secure coding practices and working in regulated/government environments Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and up to eight (8) years of relevant experience.
