CDL Driver - Full Time Silver Spring, MD Now Hiring Part-Time Transit Bus Driver with Articulating experience in Rockville, MD - Serving Montgomery County Bus Lanes We are currently on the lookout for an experienced CDL Driver to join our elite team in Rockville, MD. As a key member, you will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service. Company paid ASE testing, training materials, and tool reimbursement Key Responsibilities: Safely transports Buses. Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections. Move buses/articulating buses from one location to another. Qualifications: Good verbal communication skills At least 21 years old Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years Need to have active CDL Experience with Articulating Buses Be subject to a drug screen & physical Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. Physical Requirements: The essential functions of this position require the ability to: Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations. Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces Push and pull objects, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
