Order Puller/Voice Pick Regular Full Time PositionMust be able to work regular schedule: Monday thru Friday 7:00am to 3:45pm, possible mandatory overtime 6:00am to 4:45pm and occasional mandatory Saturdays.We offer the right candidate a highly competitive hourly rate and much moreHealth, Dental, Disability and Life Insurance 1st day of EmploymentPaid Time Off after 30 days of employmentVision Insurance401K Matching after 90 days of employmentEmployee DiscountsReferral ProgramClimate controlled work environmentEssential Functions:Regular, reliable attendance is required as work cannot be performed remotely.Receive constructive performance feedbackCreate box size for each orderUse Lucas Pick by Voice to pick, pack, and label product in numerical orderVerify barcode against productVerify all cartons using computer or hand held devicePerform accuracy audits if prompt (scan every unit in the box/carton)Push all boxes/cartons on the conveyor lineChange zones to pick, pack and label product whenever necessaryFollow safety rules for personal safety and the safety of others; including maintaining a clean and safe work environment.Comprehend verbal directions and communicate with team members in a team environment.Maintain a minimum of 99.80% accuracy every weekMaintain a minimum of 150 pick per hour performance every weekNon-Essential Functions:Visually identify by inspecting books for damaged product and place in designated area.Other duties may be assigned, directed or requested.Qualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED).1-3 months of order pulling experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and distribution experience may be substituted.Must be able to interact with voice picking systemPhysical Requirements:Must be able to stand up to 8-12 hours in a day.Must be able to walk up to 6-10 hours.Will continuously reach up and out.Will occasionally climb stairsWill occasionally push/pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally push/pull up to 50 pounds.Will frequently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.Will occasionally have repetitive foot movement.Will frequently have repetitive hand/arm movements for simple reaching, simple and firm grasping, and/or fine hand manipulation.Specific vision ability required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.Will use voice picking system to process ordersLanguage Skills:Ability to print and speak simple sentences well both written and verbally, in English.Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between a series of numbers.Mathematical Skills:Ability to add and subtract basic mathReasoning Ability:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formAbility to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situationsWork Environment:The work performed is in a distribution environmentThe employee is frequently exposed to vibrations and dust and will be working around moving machineryThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at low decibelsMust be able to work in a fast paced, team environmentReaderLink is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
