Required Skills: Medical degree (MD or DO) with valid Oregon medical license or ability to obtain oneBoard certification or eligibility in Hematology and OncologyProven experience in outpatient oncology and hematology careProficiency with electronic medical records (EPIC preferred)Strong clinical skills, including performing procedures relevant to hematology and oncologyExcellent communication, teamwork, and organizational abilitiesAbility to manage a busy outpatient clinic with 10-15 patients dailyNice to Have Skills: Experience working in a free-standing cancer centerKnowledge of managing inpatient chemotherapy treatmentsPrior experience in a locum or temporary staffing roleFamiliarity with trauma level 3 healthcare settingsPreferred Education and Experience: Completion of fellowship in Hematology and OncologyMinimum of 2 years of clinical practice in a similar settingPrior experience working with a multidisciplinary team including APPs and radiation oncologistsOther Requirements: Availability to start ASAP, with ongoing coverage minimum two weeks per monthWillingness to work a 4- or 5-day workweek, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with administrative or half days as neededParticipation in a 1-in-4 call rotation involving 7 days of call, including weekendsCredentialing timeframe of 6-8 weeksWillingness to complete 4 hours of unpaid EPIC training prior to startLodging will be coordinated and provided by Bay Area HospitalThis is a fantastic opportunity to bring your expertise to a vibrant community while enjoying competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and exceptional support.
